Véronique Gebala is currently an Associate Editor at Nature Communications, where she handles manuscripts submitted to the journal in the fields of vascular and blood biology, renal physiology and disease, and toxicology. She will offer an overview of the publishing options in Nature Research journals, explain how editors make decisions, and advise on how to best handle the different stages of the publication process. Finally, she will give a brief presentation of careers and current opportunities at Springer Nature for PhD students and post-doctoral researchers interested in a career in Editorial and Publishing.
