LIMAO : Laurence Rouet & Romain Bourcier

LIMAO gathers experts from CHUN, Siemens Healthineers, l'institut du thorax and Nantes University.
They create a collaborative space for advanced research and innovation in imaging to better understand Neuro and Cardio Vascular Pathologies (NCVP).

The main axes of interest of our team are :

  • AI-based Image Analysis Tools: We develop and validate AI algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of image analysis. This includes integrating AI into various imaging systems to enhance diagnostic precision.
  • Advanced Imaging Modalities: We conduct research and develop new imaging method (acquisition, post processing, etc.) based on photon-counting CT, MR (4D flow imaging) etc., which offer better image quality and detailed insights into NCVP.
  • Clinical Trials and Methodology: We aim to improve clinical trial methods by using advanced statistical and methodological expertise, ensuring high precision and reliability.
  • Data Management and Regulatory Compliance: We ensure secure handling of patient data, adherence to GDPR, and compliance with medical device regulations. This includes developing strong data management systems to protect patient privacy.

Education and Training:

We offer training programs for healthcare professionals and researchers to promote continuous learning and innovation, ensuring the next generation is equipped to use and advance new imaging technologies.
